The driving force behind NuSmile Orthodontics Hunter Valley is Dr. Russell Kift, a specialist in Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopedics with over 30 years of experience.
Dedicated to excellence and providing quality services to residents of the Hunter Region, Dr. Kift is widely recognised as a leader in his field. Having received numerous awards for clinical excellence throughout his career, he uses the most advanced appliance system in the world.
Dr. Russell Kift is known for both his meticulous and methodical approach to treatment and his professional, empathetic and kind chairside manner.
As a Clinical Senior Lecturer and mentor of post-graduate students at the University of Sydney for over twenty years, Dr. Kift draws upon his extensive orthodontic experience and greater professional network when developing tailored and individual treatment plans for each of his patients. For complex cases, he will undertake peer review and extensive research - yielding quality, long-lasting results.

Dr Kift has never delegated any clinical treatment to auxiliary staff (Dental Hygienists, Dental Therapists etc).
